Online Design Your Own Fabric workshop

The class will run online for approximately 2 hours and will cover the following:

• the basics of surface design
• the principles of design
• pattern types
• understand copyright and how it can affect your design
• how to create a repeating pattern with pen and paper

What's included:

• 2 hour online session
• digitisation of your design by Tammy
• a preview of your digitised design sent prior to printing.  Changes may incur extra charges
• one metre of cotton poplin fabric with your design including shipping.  Extra metres and other fabric bases can be ordered at an additional cost

You will need to supply:

• quality pens such as sharpies for your design
• scissors
• smooth white paper (maximum A4 size).  Printer paper is perfect.
• sticky tape
• ruler

You will need to either scan your pattern in and email it to Tammy or post your design to Tammy in a tracked rigid mailer (at your cost) so Tammy can scan it. Taking a photo of your design is not suitable due to perspective warping.
